Just like it says in the title.

Being a Windows user, I'm quite use to explorer crashing and what not but after one particular crash, ObjectDock doesn't want to start up anymore. I've uninstalled and re-installed a couple times but each time I launch it I get this:

ObjectDock has recovered settings from previous to a recent crash while saving, some of your most recent changes might not have saved.

Please check to make sure that all the docklets you are using are current and not causing crashing while saving.

And then it promptly crashes again. Any suggestions (other than buying Plus)?

Are you starting it after the boot or do you have it set to start on boot? And what is it you're running that Explorer is crashing?

Well it's a clean install of ObjectDock so I'm starting it after boot. As for what crashes Explorer, your guess is as good as mine. It crashes periodically and always has dating back to Win95. I've just stopped worrying about it.

Win95 was built for crashing...

...are you using XP now?

Yep, using XP Home now.

What version of OD and did you archive?
on Jul 14, 2004
1.02 and I backed up my PNGs and ICOs, if that's what you mean, but nothing else.

When you installed thru SDC you can set it up to archive the old app before it installs the new. Look in C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP and see if anything is there. You should be on version 1.02a.013...is that what you have?

Found the problem. When I uninstalled, I assumed it deleted the folder but instead it left a couple files behind, including the corrupted INI file. All's well now.

Thanks for your help.
